As of now, Slamdance Award Winner, Kori Bundi, has been attached to direct, and the screenplay is almost finished by writer and school teacher, Kevin Flinn. Kori Bundi Director of ShakeShock’s Huckleberry Finn, she is currently working as an in-house editor for director Penny Marshall. With an MFA in film production from USC, she has been nominated for a jury prize for her short film, Worms, at the 2005 Slamdance Film Festival. She has also received the James Bridges Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Directing, the Cinema Circulus Endowed Scholarship and the Corday Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Production—along with an appearance on the DVD From the Wilderness to the Garden: Slamdance’s favorite shorts for 2005. A former writer and editor for Town & Country magazine, Bundi is currently at work on two screenplays and is set to shoot her next short this fall.
